Character Points (or CP) are the basis for all character development in the game. The players spend CP (kind of like currency) on skills, attributes, abilities, and powers. Each time a character gains CP, he/she may spend them to purchase skills, abilities, and/or powers or may use them to increase attributes. He/she may also spend them to improve skills, abilities, and powers already possessed by the character.
In this RPG system, CP is gained instead of experience points. Thus, whenever the player(s) accomplish heroic deeds or adventures, they are awarded CP by the GM. They can then spend these CP on the above mentioned items. Some Game Masters may allow instant spending of CP, others only in between combat, and others still only after an adventure. It is entirely up to the Game Master’s discretion.
