The based MP cost is 5 for this spell. It can be reduced by increments to as low as 3 MP.
Special Trait: Instant Hit
If this upgrade is selected, the caster need not roll to hit. The spell will instantly hit every time. A roll to damage however, must still be done.
Special Trait: Ignore Armor
If this upgrade is selected, the target’s Defense roll must be made without applying any worn armor to the roll. Natural Armor and Vitality are still used in determining the roll so this Special Trait will have no effect on monsters. It is very useful against armored foes however such as knights and soldiers.
